Carlo Caccavale - iPhotography Collage

Pop arch iPhotography - Carlo Caccavale

I have include these works to indicate contemporary practice in digital collage. These still works are more manipulated (through on camera 'apps') than my initial attempts and lead me to consider use of colour, particularly in post production. "My pictures are about the details and distortions of life – and the iPhone is the perfect ally for this.” – Carlo Caccavale

Additional images

Whilst less dynamic (and thus less successful visually) these images also illustrate my intentions (click image for detail)

Starting points

The direction of moving image exploration I have been taking is very much influenced by these photographs. In general I am fascinated by windows, frames and cropping. The images were created as a single photograph using reflections to almost reverse the composition. My intention is to create video pieces by digitally combining multiple footage clips studying multiple directions and speed of movement.
